CAWSYD25 Impact Report

Understand the full impact that Climate Action Week Sydney 2025 had.

Over seven extraordinary days, we saw Sydney transform into a global epicentre for climate action with 246 events at 93 venues across the greater Sydney area. More than the numbers, CAWSYD24 was the passion, creativity, and collaboration that truly defined this year’s Climate Action Week Sydney.

Showcasing an extensive line of global experts and thought leaders who brought their knowledge across science, technology, finance, policy, and governance together to discuss the future of our planet.

Key results from CAWSYD2025

  • 54 countries of origin of attendees
  • 5.76 million reach across media
  • 71% new attendees

Attendees told us they found the programming both inspiring and deeply practical, with many highlighting the diversity of voices and topics as a standout feature. Connections were made, community built, and complex, but important conversations had – this is the essence of Climate Action Week Sydney, a space to share, connect, be inspired, and ensure that we progress our collective action for a climate-positive future.   

More than half of our attendees shared they’re eagerness to stay involved, expressing strong interest in learning how they can support or contribute to next year’s program. CAWSYD26 will be held 9-15 March, 2026, with sessions opening 31st October, 2025. 

The outstanding participation and feedback reaffirm Sydney’s desire to take bold climate action and with our collaborators and sponsors, we are ready to leverage and build an even bolder Climate Action Week Sydney 2026. Join us.
